This costume was a collaboration with Thak Ironworks. All the Gold Armor was smithed by Thak. All of the fabric was custom designed and printed for this costume. The shoulder armor was printed on satin polyester for more of a silk look. The arm,leg, and shorts fabric was printed on a spandex/poly mix for stretch and comfortability. The chest flowers were designed and 3D printed in PLA and painted to look like metal. I added gold leather and chainmail, that I weaved, to the arm and leg armor. The top of the hand armor adheres to the hand with magnets that have been glued into the armor and black leather gloves. The shoulder pieces also adhere to the shoulder armor using magnets.

The shoulder armor is sewn to an altered red sports bra and used black elastic flat ribbon as the bias on the edges. I also put in hidden hooks for the gold chest plate to hang on so it doesn’t slip down. The rope belt was made as a separate belt from the skirt. The cord is glued to the belt and tied together in the front with cord. The prop hook and sword ties have also been installed on this belt to hold the props. The arm and skirt plates were weaved with red macrame cord. with a double layers of leather to hide the ties on the underside.

The same style of shoes wear purchased and I just covered them with the same stretch fabric. I made faux sew seams on the heal of the shoe. I sealed the edges along the sole with black shoe goo.
