I made this costume while I was pregnant with my daughter. The coat specifically had a lot of meticulous and advanced hand braiding that took over 3 months to complete. The coat is made from heavy suede and New Zealand sheep fur for the shoulders.

The dress was made from velvet, and the design was cut out with Cricut and iron-on vinyl. The armor vest has similar braiding to the jacket. The shoulder armor, I made them come on and off with snaps so they didn’t get hung up when I wore the jacket. The armor was 3D printed and then molded to have the armor casted in silicone for easy of movement. The leather strips hanging from the armor was cut out using a Cricut as well.

The gloves where made in 3 pieces and braided together at the wrist. There are a lot of rivets and a lace swirl design that is weaved into the glove. Fringe was sewn in to glove when it was assembled.

The blue armor pieces were worn when the coat was not worn. I found corrugated leather for the gauntlets to match the screen used ones, and like the body armor the armor details on the arm wear was also casted in silicone.
